Studio Marlowe

Situated in Tiburon, this residence was meticulously designed to accommodate a couple seeking the aesthetic of a charming seaside cottage, reminiscent of those found in Carmel. However, they also aspired to establish a family and required the requisite modern amenities and ample space for growth.

A collaborative and iterative design process was established with the clients to ensure that their desired aesthetic of a seaside cottage was harmoniously integrated with practical living spaces.

The design also responded to the grand scale of the site’s panoramic views of the Bay and Mt. Tamalpais.

The stone base, integral color stucco walls, limestone sills, slate roof, and copper gutters all contribute to the timeless elegance of a structure that will endure for generations.
